Treat Your Mind Like A Pot Of Boiling Water

I've been thinking about the metaphor of boiling water. You know the old saying, "A watched pot never boils."

When you've got a pot of water on the stove, you can turn it on and walk away from it. You don't have to think about it. You can walk away from it and the fire will still be lit underneath it. That's just how it works.

Now, the same is true for big ideas. Click to watch →

An open invitation

I consider myself an Expedition Leader, helping my client partners tackle their big ideas while also rediscovering and staying connected to their inner basecamp. I asked my daughter to illustrate that idea for me and this is what she created.

basecamp

That’s me down there at camp; wielding the walkie-talkie, coaching my awesome climbers both up and down the mountain, reminding them of when it’s time to take a step (micro action) and when it’s time to sit by a fire (upshift and recenter).

If you're considering some bold moves in 2018 and would like some space to talk those ideas out I'd love to invite you to book a complimentary discovery call with me to share more about what you're up to. These connections can be very insightful even if we choose not to speak again, so I encourage you to grab a spot:
